Ukraine mourns Anna Kushnaryova after Russian missile attack

On the night of October 21-22, 14-year-old Ukrainian Anna Kushnaryova and her family were victims of Russian missile fire. Anna was an active Agility athlete who regularly took part in competitions in Ukraine with her dog Yuma. In the last competition in September she even achieved a first place. The next competition was planned in a few weeks. She also worked as a trainer in her local Agility club in the Ukrainian city of Sumy.

Now she has been taken from her life by the Russian military and another criminal act. The attack is said to have focused on civilian targets in the north-eastern city of Sumy. Her mother and aunt also died when the bomb hit Anna’s family’s house. Her father and her dog Yuma survived the attack, but are both still in critical condition and fighting for their lives. We express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends and condemn the violence.
