In beautiful summer weather the national Agility highlight of the year took place in Kääriku, Estonia. This was dominated among others by Toomas Pent. This is impressive, because he has been active in Agility for only a few years yet. So then Mudi Mürru is also his first own dog. Last year, the two already reached a podium at the World Championship in Austria. Now followed on Saturday with the first place and the Estonian Medium Champion title another big one. A few hours later another title followed as a stand-in runner with Border Collie Eddy in the Large category.
Another title also stayed in the family, so to speak. His girlfriend Triine Piirsalu and Roxy took the title in the Small category. It was their first victory on a National Championship, after many podium rankings in the previous years Last year for example the second place. At that time she had to admit defeat to Keida Raamat and My. For a long time it looked like another victory for Keida and My. As the leader after the Jumping and a strong beginning of the Agility run everything looked like victory, before a small mistake played into Triine Piirsalu’s cards. The other winners in the Intermediate category are Natalja Garastsenko with Enzo and in the Exta Small Dogs it was Kätriin Kivimets with Papillon Mickey.
