The tenth anniversary of the Swiss Agility Cup 2021 ends with an exciting finale

Martin Brunner, Christine Chalançon and Sandra Inglin are the winners of the 10th Swiss Agility Cup anniversary, which came to an end yesterday after an intense week of tournament. The final course was set by the German judge Stefanie Semkat. While the German teams still predominantly dominated the Helvetic Agility Masters, this time there was a purely Swiss podium in the Large tournament. This was of course also due to the fact that Tobias Wüst and co. were not at the start in Fräschels. Martin Brunner and Fiona win by more than a second. This after an already very strong week with many clean and fast runs. Corinne Schaub Fryand placed behind with Check and third was the still young team Melanie Staudenmann and Xennox.

In the Medium tournament, Angelina Wegbauer and Sheltie Finn in third place are the first non-Swiss team on the podium. However, already almost six seconds behind the first place. Right in front of her is André Mühlebach classified with Me and the winner of the Medium tournament is Christine Chalançon with R’n’B. Both from Switzerland. Just under half a second separated places 1 and 2 from each other. The latter was able to benefit from a generous decision by Stefanie Semkat at the seesaw. Last year’s winner Tamara Sedlmaier and You missed a repeat of the title despite being in the finals.

Red and white also dominated the podium in the Small tournament. Austria is represented in second place with Angelika Boigner and Miniature Pinscher Lina, while the newly married Swiss woman Sandra Inglin wins with Piip. In this combination, the two are also still a young team, from which we will certainly hear and see a lot more in the future. Third place went to Corinne Gysin with Hakuna Matata.
