Sabina Marxer has to renounce her start as an individual and as a team runner at the World Championship due to her work. This announced the Austrian last Sunday. It should have been the last start of a tournament of this size for Sheltie Princi. The last participation of the two in a World Championship is now two years back in the Czech Republic. Even then, the two could qualify as an individual and team runner. Even more disappointing is the fact that the farewell from the big stage will not take place in Turku, Finland. Alfons Wachter and Dandy take over the place as individual starters, while Nadine Friesenegger joins the team as team runner with Sheltie Seeya.

When dreams burst like soap bubbles…
With a heavy heart I have to withdraw my World Championship nomination due to unpredictable problems at work. It would have been the last World Championships for Princi, but I know and am grateful for the great success that Princi has given me. Once AWC Team Reserve, AWC participation Individual and Team in 2017 and this year she would have made it again and I’m more than proud of that.
Do not be sad if a soap bubble bursts. Just make a new one!
I wish the World Championship team all the best and much success in Turku. Alfons I’m glad to give my individual starting place to you and Dandy. Thank you for our good talk in in Slovenia. Enjoy it and show what you can do. Nadine I wish you a lot of fun and I am sure that you and Seeya will worthily represent Princi and me in the Small Team. Probably that was all destiny, as everything came and thanks for the kind words.
