Just an hour from Gothenburg, is the Tångahed Hall located in the Swedish municipality of Vårgårda. Where usually football is played, the Swedish Open 2019 will take place this weekend. The judges include rising Swedish judge Jocke Tangfelt, even from Sweden Fanny Gott and Viktoria Lundh. As special guest is the Finnish World Cup Judge Sari Mikkilä and European Open Judge Bonnik Berthelsen from Denmark on the turf.

As usual in Sweden since 2017, there are five size categories. The three existing FCI-categories and then there are the Extra Small and the small Large Dogs. Teams can qualify them over the heats. The first two placed in the XS category will receive a ticket, the small and medium teams need to be under the first four to receive a ticket to the final on Sunday. There are three in the large dogs and the first five in the FCI-Large category. If a team is already qualified, the next team moves on.
