Spain’s judges are now allowed to judge family members

Spain is following the FCI rules and recommendations on another point. The southern European country allows from now on judges to judge also family members. Previously it was not possible for family members to register to a competition in which the man, woman or one part of the parents judged. Still not allowed is judging competitions which are organized by its own club.

Because of the fact, that the FCI regulations outside of the three official tournaments (Agility World Championship, European Open, and Junior Agility World Championship) are only a recommendation, each country has slightly different rules. In many other FCI member states, this regulation from earlier days has also disappeared. However, there are still exceptions such as Italy or Canada.
