Senior Open Agility World Championship 2024: Great demand for the new format

The first edition of the Senior Open Agility World Championship in Belgium has attracted a great deal of interest. A total of 550 dogs from 30 countries are registered for the event in July. These include five non-European nations: Brazil, South Africa, Canada, Costa Rica, and the USA. The tournament from July 18 to 21 is being held as part of the Junior Open Agility World Championship this year on a trial basis. However, it is assumed that the event will also be held separately in the future due to the high number of participants. It is also not yet clear whether the FCI will officially include the event in its portfolio in the coming years.
