Results of a long night at the Rome Agility Festival 2023

Federica Grilli with Iccipicci, Christiane Fischbach with Salt, Aurore Brelot with Okinawa and Flavia Militto with Rokkitassun Wild Wind are the winners of the Rome Agility Festival 2023. The finals took place late Saturday evening and early Sunday morning. In the Large competition there was an all-Italian podium with Federica Grilli with Iccipicci on rank 1, followed by Monica Tasso with Clouds in My Coffee. Only 0.04 seconds made the difference between rank 1 and rank 2. Also the third placed Antonio Maria Fantetti was still within the seconds mark. The Large Final was judged by Alex Beitl.

The podium in the new Intermediate category was a little more mixed. There Christiane Fischbach with Salt secured the victory as the only team without fault points. Second was the Swede Moa Γ…strΓΆm with Zi, third Maria Antonella Giurastante with Nice and Sweet Nike in the Star. Here the course was set by Stefanie Semkat.

Also in the Medium tournament the victory went abroad. The Swiss Aurore Brelot and Mudi Okinawa secured here in the course of Jocke Tangfelt the first place. As already in the Intermediate Final, it remained in this night with a single clean run. Second and third place went to Italy. Sara Rigante with Bang Bang is second and Francesca Sanarica with Frida di Casa Sunrise third.

Another Swiss team in the form of Fabienne Riman and Sheltie Night placed on the podium in the Small tournament. But here it was only enough for the good second place. Flavia Militto and Rokkitassun Wild Wind ran in a league of their own this night. The Italian’s lead was more than three seconds. Third place went to compatriot Sofia Maria Papavero with Nicha Surprise Lady in Blue. The Small course was set by Sari MikkilΓ€.
