Postponements and cancellation: Corona turns the Swiss Agility calendar upside down

Covid-19 remains the number one topic in 2021 and cause a lot of chaos. Both on an international as well as on a national level. Switzerland has now also felt this. In addition to a training ban that has been in place since the beginning of December in accordance with the gouvernement measures, the calendar for the year 2021 now also had to be adjusted. Specifically, the dates of the World Championship qualifications as well as the already postponed final of the Swiss Championship for clubs from 2020. This has now been completely canceled according to the organizers. Originally, the event should have taken place in the Swiss Dog Arena on December 20, 2020, but was then postponed to February 28, 2021. Today it was finally canceled because of the gouvernement restrictions, which will last until at least the end of February. The World Championship qualification was already postponed a few days ago.

The final of last year’s Swiss Championship for clubs will definitely not be held anymore. How exactly the winners are determined will be communicated in the next few days. Presumably the results of the qualification will be used.
