Every two years, hundreds of Agility teams made their way to Bavaria to participate in the Bavarian Agility Challenge Kreuth, or B.A.C.K. for short. The tournament was the biggest Agility tournament in Germany. In the last weeks the voices and questions concerning the event in 2024 increased. From the official side no information about the next tournament has been published yet. Also no new date was announced at the end of the last event, as it was often the case in the past.
As it now turns out for good reason. The organizers have announced on Facebook that no further edition is planned in the future. The reasons for the decision are not mentioned in detail. But it certainly wasn’t due to the interest of the participants. On Facebook, within a few hours, the comments gathered which can understand the final cancellation, but find it a pity. The B.A.C.K. opened in recent years almost traditionally the international Agility season as the first tournament of the year.
