Norwegian Open 2018: Explanation of the qualification system

Even though at the moment everyone is talking about the Agility World Championship in Sweden, the Norwegian Open is already taking place a week later. One of the most important tournaments in the world. The organizers have published the exact qualification criteria for a place in the final. The qualification is traditionally celebrated with a golden ticket, which is handed over to the successful teams. The Norwegian open will take place from 11th to 14th October in the Norwegian Kongsvinger.

Points during Open runs:

  1. 40 Points
  2. 35 Points
  3. 30 Points
  4. 25 Points
  5. 22 Points
  6. 20 Points
  7. 18 Points
  8. 16 Points
  9. 14 Points
  10. 12 Points
  11. 10 Points
  12. 9 Points
  13. 8 Points
  14. 7 Points
  15. 6 Points
  16. 5 Points
  17. 4 Points
  18. 3 Points
  19. 2 Points
  20. 1 Point

Points from all runs are counted together and in category large top 30 is qualified to final. In small and medium, top 21 are qualified for the final. There are 6 open runs in total and the Golden Tickets will be handed out after last open run on Saturday.
