Cancellation: No Border Collie Classics this year

There will be no Border Collie Classics this year. The organizers announced this today in a short statement on Facebook. The reason for this is the current situation around the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictive regulations in Poland. Opening the borders and easing the way events are held are also being discussed in Poland. A quick decision within the next weeks is not expected.

In the end, this was the main reason who forced the organizers to give up the event. All teams who where already registered and paid in will be refunded the full amount. If informations about the account for the money transfer are missing, they will contact the teams by email. The short statement on Facebook did not tell whether Poland would be awarded the Border Collie Classics in a later year and whether they want to apply again. Next year the Border Collie Classics will take place in Abrantes, Portugal, immediately after the European Open.
