Midsummer Dog Sports Festival: Big Midsummer event announced in Finland

The Finnish online platform joyofdogsports.fi, which sells Finnish-handmade dog sports products, has announced a big Midsummer tournament for 2024. The event is scheduled to take place in the Finnish city of Lohja. The home of the “Lägi-Arena”. However, it is not yet clear from the announcement whether the event will take place outdoors or indoors in the hall.

Already clear is, that there will be a large number of international judges in 2024. Among others, Jan Egil Eide, Hugo Santos, Jesus Crespo, Zeljko Gora, Petr Pupik, Rene Blank and, as a local representative, Sari Mikkilä. As part of the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from June 19th to 23rd, there will be also international seminars. The tournament itself should have a final as a highlight. Based on the relatively early announcement and the comparatively long planning phase, we can expect a unique summer tournament in the south of Finland.
