The triennial Luxembourg Open was marked by storm and devastation this year. Despite these adverse circumstances, the organizers and participants did not let themselves be disturbed and helped actively that the event could be continued as planned after the first day. Of course, to the delight of the later winners. Notably Iwona Golab with Seeya, Julie Celmar with Ink and Clémentine Perche with Lucky Star. The Large winner Iwona Golab stayed after the European Open for just two more weeks in the region around Netherland in which she participated in the Border Collie Classics and last weekend at the Luxembourg Open. At the Border Collie Classics, she finished second behind Tereza Kralova. In Luxembourg now, followed the tournament victory ahead of Mike Peter with Limit from Luxembourg and Dani Lehrer with Tippi from Germany.
Especially exciting was the final in the Medium tournament. 0.11 seconds was the gap between the first two places. Julie Celmar and Ink won the tournament in their own country in front of Melanie Kleinemeier with Sheltie Rio from Germany. Third is the Belgian Dries Schellekens with Jip. The big favorite Nina Gregl with Boom reached the final but got there involved in a disqualification. Clémentine Perche with Lucky Star are the clear small winners with a respectable margin of just over two seconds ahead of the French Magalie Livet and Intox. Third is Angela Koopman with Little Miss. The big favorites Becky Schiltz and Mii also made a disqualification in the small competition as Nina Gregl and Boom in the Medium final.
