As part of the closing ceremony of this year’s Junior European Open in Switzerland, the official flag of the event was traditionally handed over to the next year’s host country. In this case, the Swiss committee handed over the flag to Finland, who are already having the next big event after this year’s World Championship. The Finnish association already expressed great interest in the event in February and applied for the event. This application has now been officially approved and confirmed by the FCI. Still not confirmed is the exact location of the event. After two recently announced locations in the Netherlands and Switzerland, many wish for much faster planning of the Junior European Open 2020. As judges will be Anders Virtanen and Petr Pupik on the field.
