Every year is Russia one of the big favourites for a title at the Junior European Open. This year should not be different. These were represented practically everywhere in the team ratings and in the individual courses of the junior category. A well-known picture from the last years. The big winners in the team classification were the Czechs. They took the first place in the large ranking they ahead of Swiss. And also a first place for the Czech Republic in the medium category.
The Swiss national junior team will not go home without a medal again this year. The large team around Sarina Staub, Carmen Konrad, Ueli Frei and Luana Tonoli win the silver medal in Roosendaal. However, it remains the only medal, despite many good placings in individual runs. In the end, simply missing the little bit of necessary luck.
