International Sheltie Competition 2021 will not take place despite all efforts and hope

The latest Corona numbers and the sluggish vaccination efforts have led to the cancellation of the International Sheltie Competition 2021 in the Netherlands. Due to the latest developments, the Dutch government does not allow an international event over several days. The organizers of the ISC 2021 must also bow to this decision. Of course they are disappointed, but fully understand the decision. Especially with regard to the tournament itself, which would only be feasible with many restrictions. After all, they want to set up a unique tournament that the participants won’t soon forget.

The Dutch organizers will have the opportunity to do so in 2023, when the second attempt at the event will take place. But first, the tournament will take place next year in Denmark, where it should have taken place already in 2020, but was also canceled due to the pandemic. The venue is Vilhelmsborg and the date will be November 4-6 2022.
