The Hungarian Open usually takes place in the third week of February. For next year’s 4th edition, the tournament has now been postponed by a month. Instead of February, the tournament will take place from March 19th to March 21st. Even this somewhat later date is no guarantee for holding the tournament as planned. The current situation is simply too uncertain and planning is difficult. Nevertheless, the organizers are doing everything in their power to hold the popular tournament again in 2021. The event was one of the last tournaments in 2020 before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in Europe. The winners at the time were Lisa Frick with Jack (Large), Lilla Szokol with Cassidy (Medium +), Aneta Obrusníková with Ollie (Medium) and Sandra Anton with Flo (Small). The registration will also relatively late in mid-February, depending on the current situation in Hungary. The next few months will show whether and how the tournament will actually take place in 2021.
