Italy wins the team competition at the World Championships of Belgian Shepherd Dogs (FMBB) in their own country. The winning team consists of Cecilia Fortini, Rachele Corradini, Patrizia Ciuffetti and Carlo Magnoli. Great Britain’s Helen Postle secured the gold medal in the individual tournament.
The entire Saturday at the FMBB was dedicated to team runs. They had to complete a Jumping and an Agility run. The Italians mentioned above did this best. They didn’t remain clean either with a total of 10 penalty points from the two runs. But it was still enough for the lead. Second and third places had 21.62 and 21.71 faults respectively. Second place goes to neighboring France, and third place goes to the Czech Republic. The Swiss team came in fourth place.
