Guldagility’s comeback postponed for a year due to corona

The comeback of Guldagility for the summer of 2021 was announced last summer. At that time it was still hopeful that the pandemic would be in 2021 a thing of the past and that the traditional event could be held in Sweden. A good six months later, the situation in Europe has deteriorated instead of improved. Since the Guldagility attracts many participants from Scandinavia and large parts of Europe to the venue in Kalmar, it is unlikely that it will take place until the summer of 2021, even if the situation improves. To put it in the words of the organizers, the chance is as big as an ant’s little burp. Therefore, it was decided to postpone the event for a year instead and celebrate the big comeback in 2022. As a small alternative, the Swedish Championship will be held on the same date, July 15th to 18th 2021.
