As early as mid-July, confidence was announced that the Gold Rush Competition 2021 would be held in Wülfrath near Dortmund this year. At that time, however, they wanted to wait for the development and provide more information in September. This has now been done and despite the increasing number of corona cases in Germany, the plan is sticking to the popular and last big event of the year. The necessary precautions should allow an event of this magnitude. Specifically, this means that participation is possible with the 3G rule taking into account the Corona measures in Germany: Vaccinated, tested or recovered, who can prove this with a certificate. Registration for the tournament is possible from October 1st on the registration platform webmelden.de. The event itself is scheduled to take place on December 11th and 12th, 2021. If the event takes place as planned, it would be one of the few international tournaments that took place this year.
