The FMBB board had a meeting yesterday with the organizers of the FMBB World Championship in Greece and the FMBB World Championship Herding in Czech Republic. The big topic was the worldwide Covid-19 situation and its impact on the two events. Together, taking into account all possible parameters that have been carefully observed in the last few months, the difficult decision was made to cancel both events for the year 2021. The safety of the participants, the helpers and the judges is the most important thing for the FMBB board and organizers.
Specifically, this means that the FMBB 2021 in Greece, which should actually have taken place from May 11th to 16th, will be postponed to next year. Both the location and the organizer remain unchanged according to the press release. The date should also take place in the same period. According to the Facebook event page the date will be the 3rd to 8th May 2022. Also the FMBB Herding World Championship in Czech Republic was postponed by a year. The FMBB World Championship was already postponed due to the situation for the second time in a row.
