AWC 2025

First details of the Agility World Championship 2025 published

The organizers of the 2025 Agility World Championship in Sweden have published a small online booklet with initial information on what will probably be the largest and most important Agility event of next year. The World Championship will take place from September 16th to 21st. The booklet includes the exact location and the approximate schedule of the tournament. Kalmar is located in southern Sweden in the province of Småland in the Kalmar Strait. The historic city has around 40,000 inhabitants.

The location will be the “Hatstore Arena” near the city center, which is normally used for ice hockey. The arena has space for 2500 spectators and will be equipped with artificial turf. Galican was introduced as an official partner a few days ago. This means that the equipment used will also be provided by the Spanish company. The approximate schedule has also already been presented. At first glance, this does not differ from last year. The final work will be completed on September 15th before the veterinary check and size measurements begin on Tuesday, September 16th. The opening ceremony will then take place, probably in the evening.
