Fionia Cup 2019: Norwegian-Swedish dominance

Eli Beate Sæther, Ina Himle and Jouni Orenius are the winners of the Fionia Cup 2019. The victory of the three is not entirely surprising. Jouni Orenius wins the Large final with Leia on the course of Finnish judge Esa Muotka, with just a bit less than a second ahead of the two Danish rivals Anders Rohde with Dixie and Ann-Britt Gravlund-Krat with DJ. Only Channie Elmestedt and Mayday from Denmark placed 0.36 seconds ahead of Jouni, but with one fault. In Medium Ina Himle and Wii also win the next major Scandinavian event after the Swedish Open. While the gap to second place in Sweden was still quite big, were in Denmark only 0.30 seconds between Ina Himle and Ville Liukka with Ronja. But it was anyways a good performance of ​​Ville Liukka and Ronja. Jesper Vind Jensen with Luzon from Denmark completes the podium as third. His gap to first place is almost four seconds. After a mixed last year with ups and downs, Eli Beate Sæther and Zelda returned impressively this week. Despite a strong competition she won most of the heats and as a coronation also the final with – Attention – 6.59 seconds ahead of Poul Lerche with Trusty from Denmark.
