Explosive Cashew with eager to work died unexpectedly after illness

Last Saturday, Cashew (Explosive Cashew with eager to work) from Daniel Schröder began his final journey unexpectedly and far too early. The exceptional Sheltie died at the age of nine from the effects of a tumor on his spine. Daniel Schröder had recently taken Cashew out of active sport due to his age in order to give him a nice last phase of life. This terrible stroke of fate has unfortunately thwarted these plans far too early.

Cashew will never be forgotten. He has not only burned himself into our minds as a successful Agility dog, but also as a partner in all situations. But in moments like these, victories and successes become secondary. The male Sheltie was always a unique, bright and friendly dog off the field too. Probably characteristics that formed the basis for success in Agility sport. Namely two World Championship titles and three European Open titles. And a number of other victories besides. Things that become secondary in a moment like this. But Cashew will remain in our memory as a legend, not least because of this. Or as “The one in a lifetime Sheltie”.
