Denmark Open 2021: Test run for the European Open and Dania Cup 2023

After the first edition of the Denmark Open had to be canceled in May due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the next attempt should now take place this summer. From July 8th to 11th the Denmark Open 2021 will take place in the easternmost corner of Denmark in Helsingør. There, the competition will take place in the Elsinore Sports Center. The same place where the European Open and the Dania Cup may also take place in 2023. So to speak, the Denmark Open 2021 serves as a test run to check the suitability of the location in relation to large Agility competitions.

It is not yet clear whether the competition will definitely take place this year in the Helsingør stadium on artificial turf or on a side field with natural turf – if the pandemic situation allows it at all. The tournament is open to 1,500 starts per day and ends with a final on Sunday. The judges are not yet clear at the moment. They just mentioned, that they try to invite many international judges as possible for the tournament. Registration will start on February 1st at 6:00 p.m. and is open until March 1st. Depending on the number of registrations, there will be a second option for registration.
