Many summer tournaments have already canceled this year’s edition. The organizers of the Dania Cup go a little bit different ways. The organizing club Kvistgård Agility Club has also completely canceled the Dania Cup due to the unclear situation. At the same time, however, the Denmark Open was created as an alternative. The Denmark Open should take place on a somewhat smaller scale over four days trough the week 29. The event should primarily be open to Danish starters, but also with the possibility of participation for foreign teams. If the COVID-19 regulations allow it.
So far nothing much is known about the Denmark Open. The organizer hopes to have 4 runs a day with a final on the last day. Due to the unclear situation at the moment, you have to wait a few more weeks for the final confirmation and the possibility to register. Since the Dania Cup alternates with the Fionia and the Jutlandia Cup every year, a shift by one year is not possible. This ultimately led the organizers to found the Denmark Open. After all, the many partners have shown themselves generously in this difficult time and have waived some agreements, which is why the Dania Cup is without major financial losses.
