Corona also thwarted the second attempt at the premiere tournament of the Croatian Open. This has been announced by the organizing Agility Club Zagrebački. Instead of 2020 and 2021, the tournament will now take place in 2022. The event this year was actually planned for June 25-27, 2021 with Roman Lukac from Slovakia, Esa Muotka from Finland and the Slovenian Blaz Oven as judges. As a replacement, they are now planning a smaller tournament this summer.
In addition, workshops with international stars of the scene such as Dani Fischbach, Svetlana Kreslina, Alen Marekovic, Marusa Podjed, Nina Gregl and Zeljko Gora should have taken place both before and after the tournament. But the travel restrictions in large parts of Europe and the still very uncertain development of the pandemic have made the event, which would have already taken place in a few weeks, impossible. Now they want to hold the new event, which is to become an integral part of the Agility calendar, in 2022. The exact date will be communicated in the near future.
