COVID-19: Which tournaments have been canceled, which defy the corona virus?

We have adjusted our tournament overview for the current year and added the latest information. All three FCI events are definitely canceled. It started with the Junior Open Agility World Championship, the European Open, and last week the Agility World Championship in Estonia followed. The Nordic Championship, which should have taken place in Moelv, Norway in mid-August, was also canceled. The two Swedish tournaments Swedish Open and Gåsahoppet have canceled as well as the Swedish Championship. The list is complemented by the FMBB, the biggest tournament in Latvia the Riga Open, the Mediterranean Dog Challenge in Greece, the Alpine Agility Open in Italy, and France’s flagship the Avallon Cup. Only partially canceled was the Dania Cup. Although a light version with mostly Danish participants and a shortened version is planned. But this alternative is also not officially confirmed.

The Jersey European Agility Festival and the World Agility Open were postponed. The former takes place from October 17th to October 20th. The World Agility Open was also postponed to autumn. Namely from October 29th to November 1st. The conduct of the Amadeus Agility World Cup has not been confirmed. However, this has no connection with the Corona Virus. The majority of the tournaments are currently taking place, but with a residual risk. This depends on the assessment of the respective country. The next item on the provisional calendar would be the Pilis Open in Hungary. Until there is still more than a month to go before the tournament starts. After that, the first edition of the Croatian Open would continue at the end of the month. The implementation of the Moravia Open is also uncertain. After the official FCI events and other major tournaments have been canceled, the Moravia Open is one of the annual highlights if it take place.
