Corona easing: Sweden allows limited competitions again after a long interruption

Sweden is another country that is slowly but surely daring to step back into normality. After a long break, the Swedish Agility Association has announced that it will allow competitions again, taking into account the latest developments in Sweden. However, in a slightly reduced form. The association has published a guide with the current options. In a first step, outdoor competitions with up to 100 people (without helpers) should be possible again, with a corresponding distance. Even stricter rules currently apply to indoor events. At the moment only 8 people are allowed (including helpers).

In general, the municipality decides whether an event can be held or not. The Swedish Agility Association also makes exceptions when registering. While a competition usually has to be advertised 3 months in advance, this regulation has been abolished for the first 4 months from June on. Competitions can also be announced at short notice during this time. The duration of the registration option has also been reduced from 14 to 7 days for the first time. Coursewalks are reduced to a maximum of 25 people.
