Last weekend, the FCI confirmed France as the host for the European Open from July 23 to 27, 2026. The tournament will take place at one of the largest equestrian facilities in France, “Le Grand Parquet”. The location has both grass and sand courts. The impressive location is about an hour’s drive from Paris in the middle of a large wooded area with a variety of shady walking opportunities for two- and four-legged friends.
It is gratifying that an organizer for one of the biggest events of the year could be found early on in France. The situation is less positive as things stand for the other FCI summer event. The Junior Open Agility World Championship and the Senior Open Agility World Championship (not yet an official FCI event) do not yet have an organizer. The FCI Agility Commission is open to applications. Both events can also be organized independently of each other in June or July 2026.
