Germany’s soaring continues after a small setback on Saturday morning. The German national team goes down in history as the first world champion team in the Intermediate category. Also thanks to the comfortable lead from previous Jumping. Only Germany and Sweden remained without mistakes. However, the Swedish team was unable to take advantage of the starting position after two disqualifications. Germany made two faults, with one result being cancelled. Ariane Wieber made a mistake in the long jump, Ramona Schürken made a refusal at a tunnel entrance. One mistake and a not too bad time should be enough. Tobias Wüst, once again at the end, withstood the pressure and secured Germany’s third title at this World Championship.
The Italians, who started as the third-to-last team, came second. The Italians were just one of two teams that finished clean in the Team Agility run. They already had five points from Jumping. But it was enough to take second place ahead of the Brits, who picked up another mistake in this round. The run itself was won by the Italians, ahead of Spain and Germany.
