Moravia Open 2023: Aneta Obrusníková and again Aneta Obrusníková

After a few mishaps at the Moravia Open last year, everything went perfectly this year. Even Petrus was on the side of the organizers and provided perfect Agility conditions for the three days. The traditional tournament itself took advantage of the good conditions and showed its thanks on Saturday evening with an exciting finale. A finale in which one name in particular stood out. Namely Aneta Obrusníková.

Already a week earlier at the Slovenian Open, the Czech qualified for the final with all three dogs. At that time, however, the title was just missing. In the second attempt in the Czech Republic, it also worked for the first and even second place. Even before the last run it was clear that she would win the Moravia Open 2023. The only question was whether with Chilli or Ollie. But the victory could no longer be taken away from her. She seemed to be reeling off the last run in a correspondingly calm and liberated manner. With a time of 35.25 with Chilli she beat herself with Ollie by 0.33 seconds. Third is the Croatian Open winner Natalia Vozdrohanova with Ready from the Ukraine.

In the Small tournament, Svetlana Kreslina and Chi, another winning team from the Croatian Open 2023, were also on the podium. This time the Latvian had to admit defeat to Hana Frimmelová and Bio. Third place goes to Ana Beltran Bustamante from France with Ovni. Of the 18 teams in the final, 7 teams ran clean, which is usually a relatively high rate for a final. At the third final of the evening in the Intermediate category things looked different. Only two teams stayed clean on Bernd Hüppe’s course. The Austrian is almost part of the Moravia Open inventory.

For a long time it seemed as if there was no such thing as a perfect run. Before Lee Gibson with Fish and Olena Buhlova with Fora conjured up two strong and fast runs on the artificial turf. With the better end for the Brit Lee Gibson. Third is Monika Rylska with Koza. Unfortunately with a mistake that cost her first place. Gerda Zemaityte and Lee secured the best time, although not without mistakes. In the Large tournament, the fastest time also won. Czech Zdenek Smrček and Raya win Moravia Open 2023 ahead of French Jeremy Chomienne and Ryz. He was tight 0.08 seconds ahead of Eszter Oláh and Tesla.
