After the invasion of Russia, Ukraine is still in a state of war. Millions of civilians have been forced to leave their homes since the beginning of the war. Families have been separated, relatives have died or it is unclear where loved ones are. This also affects a number of Agility athletes, trainers and clubs, whose existence was completely destroyed within a few days. An association of Ukrainian Aagility trainers, led by Natalia Denysenko, has now come together to collect donations on the one hand and to stay in touch with each other at all.
In the appeal for donations, which is deliberately aimed at other Agility enthusiasts all over the world, thanks are also given in general for the enormous willingness to help that Ukraine has experienced since the outbreak of war. Among other things, various people have provided a temporary home or offered a ride to a safe place. With a dog or even several, this is anything but a matter of course. The money raised through the fundraiser will benefit Agility athletes who are directly affected by the war. For example for families of Agility people who lost relatives, lost their house or just need to get some dog food for the survival of their dogs.
