After last year’s cancellation and a postponement from summer 2021 to autumn 2021, the biggest Agility event of 2021 will finally take place tomorrow in Moelv, Norway. We are talking about the Nordic Championship 2021. A transnational event of the cynological associations of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. The latter, however, do not constitute a national Agility team. Usually the tournament is considered the final preparation for the World Championship. Accordingly, the teams are largely made up of the respective national teams.
The Nordic Championship takes place over three days in picturesque Moelv, a good two hours’ drive from Oslo. The tournament is held indoors on artificial turf. The host is the Limtrehalle, which is normally mainly used for indoor football. At the last edition in Denmark in 2019, Norway won the tournament with 3 gold medals and 1 bronze medal ahead of Sweden.
