Contrary to the current trend, the Norwegian Open will not take place in 2021 either. This is the second year in a row in which the popular tournament fell victim to the corona virus. The current strict requirements and restrictions in Norway do not allow to held such an event. Especially considering the high number of participants. The Norwegian Open is not only one of Norway’s largest tournaments, but also one of the largest and most important international tournaments. Correspondingly many international teams are usually on the start list.
The news is also accompanied by two good pieces of news. Among other things, with the announcement that the tournament will take place again as usual next year. The date has already been set between October 15 and 17. But there is also good news for this year.
