Amadeus Horse Indoors organizer Sepp Göllner dies unexpectedly

As the ORF reports, the founder of the Amadeus Horse Indoors Josef Göllner died unexpectedly this Monday at the age of 53 of a heart attack. Immediately initiated resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go to the loved ones during this time.

Josef Göllner has always been the driving force behind the Amadeus Horse Indoors. The popular restaurateur, entrepreneur and horse lover launched the tournament in 2006 and quickly turned it into an event with an international format. The Amadeus Horse Indoors is now Salzburg’s largest equestrian event. An equestrian event with its very own flair.

The Amadeus Agility Worldcup has also been part of the Amadeus Horse Indoors for ten years. In the spirit of the inventor Josef Göllner. Due to the corona crisis, the pre-Christmas event in 2020 was postponed by one month and was held in a different form. Instead of moping up, Josef Göllner was already working on many new projects in the future. Just as we would like to keep him in mind.
