Croatian Open 2020 also postponed by one year

After the cancellation of the Slovenian Open in the past few days, the first questions about the Croatian Open at the end of June came up. These were answered in a statement by the organizing club today. The Croatian Open will not take place this year due to the current situation surrounding the corona pandemic. Instead, the tournament is postponed for one year.

The reasons for the cancellation are similar as with the Slovenian Open. The pandemic made thorough preparation impossible and even if it were carried out, certain things would have to be dispensed with. This is not in the sense of the organizers. Especially since, like the Slovenian Open, it would be the first edition of the tournament at all. That is why it was decided to postpone the event in the interest of everyone.

In the statement, however, it is promised that the upcoming edition will be even better and bigger in 2021. The date has been scheduled for June 25. til 27. in 2021. As already this year, registration should be possible for everyone, without maximum participant restrictions. Further information will follow at the appropriate time. As a small consolation, the organizing association “Zagrebacki Agility Klub” will hold a small national tournament on June 28th.
