From August 5th to 9th, the Rialp tournament is planned in Spain as a large summer event in the city with the same name. Today the organizers also released a statement and confirmed that they wanted to stick to the usual plan to hold the tournament despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The statement indicates that appropriate protective measures will also be taken in the case that the tournament can be held. At the moment, they cannot definitely confirm that the event can actually be held. This depends on the decisions of Spanish politics. Precisely because Spain was one of the countries in Europe with the most COVID-19 infections. If it is not possible to run the tournament, they will, of course, accept it. Until then, the planning will continue as normal.
