Swiss Agility Cup 2020 should take place as planned

The organizers of the Swiss Agility Cup 2020 have announced their further strategy for the 2020 tournament. In this, they stick to the original plan and date. The tournament is scheduled for August 2nd to 8th. As a precaution, three alternatives have been put in place if the Swiss government suddenly takes a different course than it currently does. The last requirement of April 29th means that no events with more than 1,000 people may take place until the end of August. The organizers started on the base of this number various calculations. However, the most generous calculation resulted in 850 people, which would be 150 people below the limit of 1,000 peoples.

Preparations are proceeding as planned until July 1st. It is only on this date, or when the government takes further action or easing, that a final decision will be taken. As a precaution, three variants have been set up. The first variant is a normal tournament as planned with foreign entrants and foreign judges. The second variant would be a purely Swiss tournament without foreign teams. The last option would be to postpone the tournament by one year from August 1st to August 7th.
