Incredible: Tereza Kralova and Say win Magna Racino Open for the fourth time in a row

Tereza Kralova and Say make once again Agility history. The two win the 2020 edition of the Magna Racino Open in an exciting final. This marks the fourth time in a row that the Czech girl has been on the top step in Austria. She displaces Iwona Golab and App to second place. There was also a Czech victory in the Medium tournament with Barbora Kozlova and Run For Fun. The first decision of the day in the Small tournament went in favor of the Russian Anna Ivanova and Sheltie Marvitholl.

Today there was the time for the first big challenge of the year between Tereza Kralova and Iwona Golab in the final of the Magna Racino Open. However, the Polish border collie Saynorara did not finish her run. But with her second arrow in the quiver App, she ran strong as usual and finished second in the end. Even the duo was almost a second behind the time of Tereza Kralova and Say. The Austrian Lara Heinzel, part of this year’s Austrian national team, took third place. With 0.29, only a measly tenth of a second was missing for second place. Of the 61 finalists, only 17 teams reached the finish line without getting disqualification from judge Bernd Hüppe. The only starter who could almost put Tereza Kralova and Say in trouble today was Beata Luchowska and Malibu. At least as far as time is concerned. The run itself was not clean. Otherwise, she would have been just 0.06 seconds short of Tereza Kralova’s time. The latter also qualified at the last minute for the final with her young dog High this morning. Similar to the B.A.C.K. three weeks ago. But also today, the two did not remain entirely clean but with a big increase overall. In the end, the young team finished seventh.

With the victory of Barbora Kozlova and Run For Fun before, there was great joy in the Czech team. Although she did not run the fastest time, she did it with a lot of head and ran as one of only five competitors without mistakes. But the time itself was also pretty fast. Only Aneta Obrusníková was a few tenths faster. There are almost three seconds between first and second place. For the second-placed Sabina Marxer, this should be irrelevant anyway. Because until this morning the final participation with Asti was still a long way off. It was only thanks to today’s victory in the Lucky Loser Jumping that she was able to participate in the final in the afternoon. Third place is also in the colors of Austria. Anna Jantschgi and Tequila also remain clean but lose another three seconds to second place. B.A.C.K. Winner Ugrin Babunski misses the chance of a double victory in the first two major tournaments of the year and does not reach the finish line in the final. Also, Helmut Paulik, who has been strong over the past few days, has not reached the finish in the final.

A duel, as it happened a lot in the past, was expected between Alberto Marmo and Pavol Vakonic in the small tournament. But this didn’t happen. The Slovak Pavol Vakonic and Sheltie Meryl did not reach the finish and the Italian Alberto Marmo and Terrier Dhitta ran the clear best time, but with a mistake. After all, the Magna Racino Open title remained in the family, so to speak. Life partner Anna Ivanova from Russia with Sheltie Marvitholl took advantage of the hour and ran towards the finish with a time of 42.97. Ana Geohelli and Ita crossed the line a little slower but also without any faults in 44.13. Third place goes to Monika Saling and Star, who laid the foundation for Czech success today.
