In a few weeks will be held in Norway the probably largest tournament in Europe, the Norwegian Open. Due to the as yet unidentified serious illness in the greater Oslo area, there is still an event ban in Norway, which was ordered by the national Kennel Club. This was loosened on 17 September for some single events. Now the organizers of the event have addressed the participants with a longer letter. In this one, they assure that they take the current situation very seriously and observes these closely. According to the Norwegian authorities and the course of the disease, the risk of infection according to current knowledge is not as great as expected at the beginning.
They understand, if people want to withdraw of the tournament because of the current situation. But the cost can not be refunded. If the tournament should not take place, then they will transfer the money back to the competitors. At the same time, the organizers assure that they will not go alone with any decision and rely entirely on the authorities.
