The first three decisions at the 2019 World Championship in Finland have fallen. Above all, Germany once again proves the impressive team performance. Immediately in all decisions today goes medals to Germany. One golden in the Small and Medium Tournament, and one Silver in the Large Competition. With that they move past Switzerland in the eternal medal list, even before the individual competitions are awarded and count now same medal amount as Finland have. In the Large Tournament they started from a promising position in the agility run and again brought four clean runs to the finish. Only the Spaniards were 0.27 seconds faster than Mona Grefenstein and co. Spain confirms with that gold medal the strong upward trend. The UK remains as the last team without mistakes and wins bronze – but already with a considerable distance. The fastest time overall goes to the fourth placed Czech Republic, but with one penalty point.

For the third time in a row, the Czech national team secured the silver medal at a World Championship. The team around the reigning single world champion Martina Magnoli Klimesova and Kiki lost just a second to Germany. As leaders after the jump, the Czechs were the last team to start. And after the team already had three clean runners on the safe side, Martina Magnoli Klimesova was the final runner who needed to decide over gold or silver. After three runners the silver medal in front of France was already sure, but on the current ranking still behind Germany. Also she couldn’t change that either. Germany, just like yesterday, was simply running in their own world. The first three runners were also clean, albeit in the case of Bozena Schröder with good luck, so that Silas Boogk and Beam could put everything on one card and just attack. France completes the podium.
Medium Individual (Full results)
Germany (B. Schröder, S. Schlühr, K. Hellriegel, S. Boogk)
Czech Republic (A. Obrusnikova, K. Malackova, J. Hrdinova, M. Klimesova)

In the small competition it was already sure on Thursday, that previous year winner Estonia can not defend the title. The defending champion ended up in 13th place, as the last classified team. Again, Germany literally ran in a different league yesterday and again today, and outclassed the runner-up Russia by more than ten seconds. Not only that Tobias Wüst run a whole second faster than the second fastest team, he also had additional pressure as a final runner to bring a clean run to the finish line after Saskia Laudenberg retired before. The team remains as the only team without any mistakes out of the two runs. Russia in second place has already 0.69 seconds time fault and the third placed Czech Republic, which also collected two medals after the first decisions, come with faults in time up to 2.47 seconds to Germany.
